Reading the first chapter of this book already reminds me of Skull and Bones. Not that I know of how they work, but the scull and the rituals and powerfull men is truly hinting in this area. Cannot be a coincidence that the city where they are located happens to be Washington D.C.
Dan Brown mentions in the beginning of the book, that these secret organisations exist and that all the rituals and artwork are true.
I specifically liked the beginning of the book with the text:
To live in the world without becoming aware of the meaning of the world is like wandering about in a great library without touching the books.
I think this is something we definitely have noticed the past years, right? I feel excited about this book already because it is touching an area that interests me personally and that I can´t wait to see all the secrets I can be part of.
He made a point to say that all organizations, artwork, rituals, science and monuments in his book are real.

ReplyDeleteI think this book has even more masonic symbols and information then The Da Vinci code, although I can't remember everything in that one. This leaves me no doubt that Dan Brown knows all about the Illuminati in great detail, either coz he researched like regular people, such as us, or he's an insider.
I recognize every symbol he's talked about so far. Boaz and Jachin are those two columns that are popular in the Illuminati architecture. Also known as the Solomon Pillars (King Solomon's Temple).

This thought just occurred to me: what if what we think as us "waking up" is actually us being brainwashed even more? What if all of this is BS and we're being brainwashed to think we're "awakening"?
Anyway, I've read until chapter 4, and for tonight am calling it quits. The book seems interesting so far.
I read a couple of more chapters (now on ch 7). Seems to me, Langdon is very pro-masonry, based on that lecture he gave his classroom. This book feels like it's more a teaching tool in masonry then a thriller,lol I feel like the purpose is to TEACH more then anything else,lol at least for now.

ReplyDeleteI had the same feeling reading all the way to chapter 6 that I know so much of these symbols already and yes Illuminati strike thought totally. As you said he seems to be teaching us about and making us awake what´s going on. I don´t think we are being brainwashed, I do think these rituals happen, what they do I don´t know but it´s clear something strange happens in them.

Now I think that people who don't know about this stuff probably got turned off in the style of writing (teaching-like). But those of us who are into these conspiracy things "get it". Anyway, it promises to be a good book. I'm very curious about what Mal'akh wants that is hidden,lol Some anti-dying secret I think it is.

I again am dying to know more and more about what he knows and how he tells about the weird stuff some years ago I had no clue even existed. Could it be that this Langdon actually is D Brown himself? maybe he is describing his own thoughts as Langdon, if you know what I mean? and also could this writer be a mason somehow? at least he seems to be positive about it and in a way it makes sense.

Yes, Langdon IS portraying Dan brown's thoughts and knowledge. Chapter 15 (Katherine's work) has to do with collective consciousness and how thoughts have the ability to change the physical world. That's why MJ always said LOVE. If we all think LOVE, then we create a loving and positive world. Dan Brown, if he's not an insider, well then, he's definitely a conspiracy theorist like us,lol U know, so far he hasn't revealed anything we didn't know on our own. And yes, I do find Katherine interesting, and the field she's working on. and the thing that Mal'akh is looking for is an ancient portal that reveals ancient secrets. U know, they say that there are places in the world that have unusual energy fields, and some people think these places might be "portals" to other dimensions. Some of these places are natural and others are man built. Like those Stone Hedges in England. With the right sun angle, time of year, etc... the energies in those places have "magical qualities" according to some people, and according to others, they can bring people to other dimensions. All this, of course, is legend, but interesting nevertheless.
ReplyDeleteOnly read a few chapters today but then again watched the Da Vinci Code movie and realized the book is really much better, but had to rewatch it. I´m thinking about what it could be that Katherine is trying to achieve, so curious about it! The good thing about today´s chapters were the fact that we can learn from the past and that by looking back we can learn a lot and maybe the answers are really there...... will start chapter 18 next.
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree, the ancients from the past already knew so much! Nothing that science thinks is "new" really is. But something happened in evolution that made people forget what they already knew. That's probably where Secret Societies come in. They guarded all the information from future generations, and in that process, humans had to relearn everything. Except they think they're discovering it for the first time. I think the ancients were wiser and smarter, much more so then today! They also were connected to other dimensions that we aren't today. Again, coz we were kept from accessing this information .

ReplyDeleteI found that chapter very interesting. At this point in the book (even where I am), looks like Langdon is denying those signs/pyramids are anything but myth (have no power). He's very pro-mason. I'm VERY curious to see what happens in regards to that pyramid they found in that room in the basement.

I'm not saying Illuminati or the elite idiots who want to rule the world, but what if the Masons really DO want to protect the world? That they are the ones working against the "Illuminati" and other such groups? ReplyDeleteThe world is an illusion, created by our collective consciousness. WE made this world as it is. We designed it, and made it seem real, but it's not. What we think is "solid" is really not. It appears solid and real coz of the low fibrational energy fields it's designed with. We're all separate, yet all one. Example, we're like water droplets from the ocean---separate drops but all the same ocean. To change the world to a better one, we, collectively, have to THINK it better and design it (as ONE) how we want it to be. IE: thoughts are power. This world IS our thoughts. Some individuals are aware of this and therefore are capable of manipulating most others to bring about the world the way THEY want it, not ony through mind-control, but also through genetic manipulation of the human body to make us less aware of the reality of things. These "evil" individuals are US too, the part of us who feels insecure and is very egotistical. It is this ego in us that has made the negative things happen. We don't realize it's us that does this because we've been programmed to think we're separate individuals. Now, to put it in a "religious" context: we may be what they call "the fallen angels". Separated ourselves from the true creator (which is all of us collectively), and have designed this world as we know it. We're slowly working our way to "God", but parts of us are still holding on to that ego and manipulating the good in us, and so we continue to portray a world of chaos. However, now we're beginning to "awaken", meaning we're seeing the truth of it all. We're "fighting" with that ego in us that keeps things dark while trying to find the divine in us, which is the pure light we come from---God, Creator etc... Over history, "prophets" have come to help us along the way, Jesus being one of them, but we did not understand the message, or the egotistical part of us, kept us from realizing the truth. Until we let go of all ego, and know true love, we continue to create the world the way it is. Kind of hard to explain,lol But let's see if this is in the book. I'm on chapter 86 or so, and at this point, they don't know (Langdon and katherine) what the ancient secrets are. let's see if I'm anywhere close,lol
Reading all this that you wrote I couldn´t help thinking of Matrix, you know one of the most greatest movies ever made. The first time I saw it I didn´t get anything but the more times I have seen it, I´m realizing they were trying to tell us this, that we all live in a bubble and in reality there is a real world out there. If I understood you right this was what you were trying to say. Actually I think it is the truth, especially seeing how much things, tv, internet, music, movies there are to keep our minds on other things. Remember when David Chapelle said that every time he suspected the new world order were having important secret meetings MJ was framed with some molestation etc. It would be a terrible thought but then again I don´t think it´s so far fetched.

ReplyDeleteAnd I remember that MJ's troubles always seemed to coincide with major secret meetings, to TAKE THE ATTENTION AWAY from those meetings. On that note, MJ's death, and funeral dates coincided with such meetings, btw. One in which the Pope actually talked about the New World Order, but nobody got that coz they were all tuning in on what was going on with MJ's death. And because of this, part of me worries that maybe they did get to him. I hope not. I mean, I hope that MJ knew they were going to do something to him, but he got away.

And when u get to the end of the book, u'll understand. How is it that I've been so fascinated recently in religions and the Bible, and then I read THIS book? Something is leading me somewhere.... ReplyDeleteYes yes I finished it today and OMG all these things we have been talking for about ages. Remember I talked about the soul and what Malanga thought of that? and now about your religion, just like we have said. Malanga told a long time ago that we ourselves are the GOD we just don´t know it and that it lives within us and we can do incredible things. Also a reason why the E.T are interested in us. I don´t know if the book is hinting at all in this direction but somehow it took me back to the context. Also as you have said that religion is much more powerful than we can imagine now we had a theory on all of that and how history indeed might have the answers to our questions. Just feels as if we need to search within and find the answers. Maybe that is what we are doing now? what do you think?
ReplyDeleteWe ARE doing that, looking within. It's no coincidence that these books, videos, etc fall into our laps just at the right time. Not only are we looking within, but we're being "guided". I really think we are. I had no idea this book would talk about spirituality and consciousness like it did. Just as I am reaching conclusions about all this, it's written in black in white in a book I never expected to find such info, lol That is NOT coincidence. Dan Brown may be just like u and me, researching as we do, but he decided to write a fiction novel to incorporate all this info. The conclusions I'm starting to get about religions and Jesus, etc, he ALSO seems to share. One thing that struck me, he seems very pro-Mason. Like he's trying to tell us that the Masons (which doesn;t mean Illuminati or other such groups) are generally GOOD. People like us, who look into conspiracy theories, have developed a negative outlook on Masons, and I think he's trying to say that maybe we're not seeing things as they are.

As I have told you I have some feeling and then I follow it, just like you. As you mentioned D Brown gives a positive picture about Masons and maybe it is so that the things we don´t know of scares us and he is trying to tell us to be more open. It is true people have faith in different things and as the world is built today only something´s are accepted as "normal". I liked the way he described people kissing Christ´s feet but then not understanding the rituals the Mason do. I really wish we had more information about all of this but this way by reading about it we can understand their world better. Excellent book I have to say.

When I think of the title lost symbol that Brown has named for the book I wonder what he refers to. I mean they talk of the lost word or the hidden word and yet I feel confused about many things. I think I have to read the book again LOL!!!!!

At least, his experience of it. This book was written to TEACH, I have no doubt. At the same time, he made it entertaining by giving it the thrilling plot. But it's main purpose was to teach.

ReplyDeleteIsn´t this an interesting quote? for me says it all. And maybe Brown is teaching us to take control and become something we feel we urge for. You know heroes are born but then again the forces from within might appear at any moment in life? so we can never know the exact moment, maybe this is our´s?
In any case I loved this book and the fact that it had interesting facts about things I thought of differently and know I feel confused what to think. Maybe we should study the Mason´s even more?

What u find online, is basically very negative about them. But I'll keep looking. Even Dan Brown does mention in the book that the Masons keep quiet even when all kinds of bad things are said about them. We'll keep an open mind about the Masons and try to find more info on them.
