Yeah, this song (Missing u) ALWAYS gets to me now. I not only think of MJ, but of my father too. My father won't come back, but damn, I hope MJ does... I'm not saying MJ is as important to me as my dad. They're important in different ways.
With my dad, I got to say "thank u" and "goodbye", and for that I'm grateful. I guess what I want from MJ is for him to know without a doubt he was loved, and we are SO grateful for everything he did. His work frustrations, challenges did not go unnoticed, nor were they unimportant. I want him to KNOW that with 100% certainty. And I want to apologize for not supporting him more like I should have. Instead of staying quiet when he got criticized, I should have opened my mouth loudly and defended him, like I do now.
I do know it reminds you of your dad and I do understand how much you miss him ( or can begin to understand). I totally get what you are saying about MJ too and don´t think you are comparing them both. I miss MJ like family too, like the Jacksons say, his fans were like family too so it´s okay to feel that way. I really hope MJ is alive and I do hope that there is something after life that would make sense so we could see the people we love again <3
