There is so much to say about this book. I had no clue there was a big hello about it all over the US. It´s funny that they are even in Vancouver also.... anyway will write more later on, while getting on.
I´m really hooked on this book, just about to finish the first one soon. The emails that Christian and Ana sends each other are my absolute favorites. Especially the headlines, LOL! Seeing this interview with the author made me love the book even more. She is even a home mom, making her sex life spicy and even writing about her wildest fantasies. Gave me an idea for my book in the future. I have been thinking about what to write and what better with subjects you know well?! I thought it was so quite the author was kind of blushing when asked about the book. I found it totally adorable.
I knew u'd be excited about this book once u gave it a chance, lol And the fact that it was just a regular woman who decided to write this, is very encouraging for someone like u, who has been planning to write a book for a long time. So go for it! U have SO much to say. U can mix ur past with fiction and make quite a compelling story!
As I mentioned I have reached the second book already. This book is really so intriguing that it´s hard to put it down but sometimes I force myself that I have to go to bed or do other things. The way Ana is just fascinates me, she is so strong, reminds me a lot of me since she has so many emotions. I kind of was thinking when reading this that if I´d seen this book like 10 years ago when I was in that phase of my life, insecure like she is, I would have kept myself from a lot of pain. But I guess life is supposed to teach us and guide us and even surprise us. So in a way my life was meant to go the way it did. But I still can´t stop to think about that I can be smart afterwards. Maybe this definitely is a sign for me to write my own biography / fantasy book about my life. Maybe I have experienced things that can help someone else and even before the phase has passed, being in it so to say.
I find it interesting how much technology is used in this book and now when even the IPAD came I was like, what´s next the KINDLE???!!! LOL.
Oh did you notice they mentioned Principles of lust by Enigma. I absolutely love that song and any of Enigma´s in fact!!!
I know, the stuff in this book is great, LOL And when she said the ipad had the British Library, I'm like "Yeah, I have it too!" LOL And all the music or songs they mentioned, I had to listen too, LOL There's no kindle mention, lol Of course I love Principles of Lust,lol I love most of Enigma's music. And have for many years!
I think of all the subliminal messages in this book with the APPLE theme, Blackberry and of course AUDI. This writer must really be a geek of gadgets too. She kind of reminds me of you!!!!!!!!! I find it awesome though and why not. My parents have always been gadget people and in a way me too. Now becoming more and more again after a klng break.
I can´t tell you how many times I laugh in this book, especially when Ana and C sends emails to each other. The headlines are hilarious, they totally crack me up. I was thinking of Christian today and how rich he seems to be and then again Ana don´t care at all about that. She is so like me , never cared about people´s money or fame just their personality. She is hooked on him by sex but also she loves him for caring so much for her, although she doesn´t admit it. But I can read between the lines her saying, yes care about me. Today I totally cracked when C carried her on his shoulders and she wrote that letter with that it´s okay if you are 6 years , LOOOOOOOOOOOOL! Can´t help but loving the humor. You know I always loved Toxic and now when they mentioned that song I have had it on my head all day. And of course I have loved enigma, sandra and cretu since the 80´s. My parents taught me all about that music so yes very glad they get some attention this way.
I will write more on my book. I feel inspired when finding a subject that could be tantra, heh.
BTW does this book have a age limit? just thinking of the texture.
That's the impression I get too, that she's a gadget freak like me,lol I don't think she was endorsed by companies like Apple . She started writing this book as a fun thing. She put it up in a site where people post stuff they write, and people read it and loved it and told her she should publish it , and so she did. So I really think the author is someone like any of us, impressed by the gadgets out there,lol As for Christian's and Ana's emails, yeah I know, they're HILARIOUS! LOL I laughed out loud several times,lol

Just finished the second book and now going to the freed one ( last one in the series). I hope to read it at my parents and then start rapture. I don´t know if I´ll make it with Gone with the wind to my book club. It has to be done at 14th of AUG and I still have 3 books to read.
Anyway loved this series, it´s a genius who did this book. And the one you mentioned in the mail, will definitely check that out in the end of the summer and then if we like it we wait for that second part in the fall ?!
I´m sorry you are not into dreamless. I did like the first one better too, but still waiting for the last one, to know if she gets to choose Lucas after ALL :d
I didn't say I didn't like Dreamless, I do like it, but I was more into it with the first book. There's a lot of excitement in this one too, but I don't know, maybe I'm just not into that type of story right now. I am , however, reading it. And I will read the next one in the series too. I'm looking forward to Rapture too. Right now, I'm into books like the matrix one u sent. I'm enjoying that book, LOL

I know what you mean about Dreamless, I had the same, especially since at the same time I have been reading 50 shades. This book is sooooo good and the humor is just awesome. I think the writer seems really fun in person too. I remember seeing that interview with her where the interviewer asked how many different kind of orgasms a woman can have or how many different positions. She almost flushed a little LOL! I found it adorable. I really think she has been a little like Ana herself and that´s even why the flow is so natural and personal.
Yeah I can´t wait to see what happens in the last book of the series of Lauren Late, rapture. I felt i was in love with Daniel since the first book and now knowing how much he loves Luce, just like how I adore Christian too. He seems like a man any woman would dream of and the best thing is that anyone can really change, it´s just a matter of will and motivation.
We will see what book we inclide before August, If I don´t make it to the book club it´s not the whole world.

The book does have an age limit. I've heard that they've "carted" people who bought it at a bookstore,lol Age limit is 18.
